Each month you can choose freely your way of repayment by:
- Submitting only the minimum monthly payment – 5% of the used balance
or
- Paying your balance in full and on time, thus you will not pay interest on purchases
45-day grace period for the credit card
(Sample scheme with an allocated limit of BGN 1,000 and a minimum repayment installment – 5% of the amount of the used limit)
- The maximum grace period for purchases is up to 45 days since if a certain purchase is made on March 1, the repayment of the obligation can be made until April 15.
- If you choose to repay only a part of the obligation, formed during the previous month, interest is charged on the number of purchases from the date of the transaction
- The obligations, formed from cash withdrawal, do not have a grace period, meaning the charged interest always begins on the date of the transaction.
- In case of non-payment of the minimum repayment (in the amount of 5% of the used credit limit at the end of the previous period – in the stated example: 5% x 500 BGN = BGN 25), the unpaid part of the obligation is considered overdue and charged with the corresponding interest for overdue.
