History

"Teximbank" is proud of its unique history. We are the only one among of the newly founded Bulgarian banks which could boast with traditions in banking.

Its name the bank has inherited from the legendary economic group “Texim" which laid down the foundations of the modern industry with largest Bulgarian commercial fleet, agriculture aviation, hothouse production and Coca Cola production.

It was founded on 02.09.1992 by Georgi Naydenov – the person-symbol of modern economy. Teximbank is the inheritor of the existing during the 60ies of the last century Marine Commercial Bank – the first commercial bank after 1944.
